From the city centre (and Matabiau station) :
  • Metro: line A, ‘Basso Cambo’ direction, ‘Mirail Université’ stop
  • Bus: n°14 direction ‘Basso Cambo’, stop ‘Mirail Université’.
  • Car : From the ring road: Exit 26 ‘La Faourette’ Exit 27 ‘La Cépière’ then follow the University signs.
 

From Toulouse-Blagnac airport :

  • Public transport : airport shuttle to Jean-Jaurès or tramway line T1 or T2 to Arènes stop, then the metro (line A, direction Basso-Cambo - stop at Mirail-Université station).
  • Car : take the outer ring road (direction A61 / Foix-Tarbes-Montpellier) and take exit 27 (La Cépière), or possibly exit 26; then follow the University signs.

Your safety


Your safety is paramount and one of our priorities.
Magali PHILIPPE, Sandrine Buscaino and Sylvain Morvan are the laboratory's Prevention Assistants.
You should speak to them to find out about the specific safety rules.
When you collect your badge from the building's logistics department, you will also be briefed on the basic operating instructions for the Maison De la Recherche.

The laboratory has several first-aid kits: Magali Philippe's office, sedimentology room, chemistry room and in the secretariat,
The building has a defibrillator located on the ground floor between the two buildings of the research centre.


What to do in an emergency :

In the event of an accident or serious incident (such as a fire), the 1st witness must protect him/herself and the victim, and alert the emergency services (internal or external). 

In the event of an accident, assault, theft or damage :

Security control centre on 05.61.50.47.81 (47.81 from an internal phone)
It is authorised to activate the alarm manually on the manual triggers when the security control centre is alerted to a situation requiring its intervention.

In the event of an alarm or evacuation : :

Before leaving the office, close the windows and the office door.
  • For MDR 1: It has smoke detectors, the alarm is triggered. Remove the wedges from the fire doors
  • For MDR 2: No smoke detectors, the alarm must be activated manually.

Musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) prevention service :

Its mission is to contribute to a better quality of life during the working day, prevent musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and carry out ergonomic studies of workstations.
You can contact the Professional Environment Department (pep@univ-tlse2.fr) if you would like to have your workstation assessed.

  • The resto'U :
It offers themed catering with 4 stands: traditional cuisine, world cuisine or full-course meals, pizzas and filled pastas, grilled meats. Open from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
  • The cafétéria :
It sells hot and cold sandwiches, morning pastries, traditional and American pastries, hot and cold drinks. Open from 8am to 3pm with free Wi-Fi.

  • The Crous truck :
Under the Canopée, from 11.30am to 1.30pm, Monday to Friday, it offers a trendy menu to enjoy on the go.
  • The canteen :
Located at the corner of the reception building, under the Canopée, this self-service area has been designed so that you can compose your lunch as you wish from products chosen directly from the display cabinets and prepared by the Crous teams.
  • Private catering :
Private catering is also available on campus

Social actions


Le SCASC : Service Commun d’Action Sociale et Culturelle (Joint Social and Cultural Action Department)
Provides assistance, advice, information and guidance to all University staff. It organises social, cultural and sporting activities for staff and their families.

Le CAES : Comité d’Action et d’Entraide Sociales (Social Action and Mutual Aid Committee)
It acts as a works council for employees of CNRS and its institutes. All active CNRS and CAES staff are members by right. Retired staff of these bodies who have confirmed their membership with CAES are also members. Members' spouses and children are also entitled to membership.
