Research topics
Toulouse metropolitan area, French Pyrenees, Aude, Chile.
I am interested in the consequences of natural disasters, particularly floods, on the functioning of territories, as well as in the construction of environmental inequalities in areas exposed to water‑related issues.
I therefore follow territories affected by floods over time (notably in the central Pyrenees) in order to characterise the processes that unfold after the flood and to identify the extent to which territorial configurations facilitate or hinder post‑flood recovery.
I also work on the construction of environmental inequalities related to water, in France and in Chile, and on how the perception of these inequalities influences, or does not influence, the mobilisation of local stakeholders.
